I would like to go back and read the entire series. I cannot imagine jumping into this series at any point other than the beginning. On a whole tho, I still like this story and will continue to read it until it ends or I get so frustrated with the characters that I don't care about them anymore. Alainn will not return until Killian has her removed. This book centers on a few concepts from the prior books - Alainn and Killian dealing with the aftermath of the loss of their newborn son, Alainn trying to cope with Killian's betrayal with Ciara, and Alainn using her powers to battle gods and other fantastical creatures out to get her and those closest to her.
